The Aston HALO reflection filter is the first of a series of reflection filter products planned by Aston Microphones. In a market awash with differing versions of an ageing design concept, the Aston HALO is a huge leap forward in reflection filter technology.
There are several key areas on which we focussed on improving currently available technology, most notably for Isolation, absorption, mounting hardware and the general performance as a studio tool for achieving portable room control.

From the ground braking Origin, with it’s rugged and industrial design ethics, the awe-inspiring Spirit which pulls big punches against opponents many times it’s price, to the intriguing Starlight with a friggin laser beam attached to its head and the Halo, from the designer of the Reflexion Filter, a product which created an entire product category, to improve on what everyone else was merely copying, this product range may be small but each product is absolutely killer and worthy of your attention!

Musos Corner even brought some Aston microphones with them when we were privileged enough to visit Abbey Road Studios for the day to do some tracking. It had some amazing company with vintage U47’s side by side.
