The RD6 has been carefully designed to create a drum machine with endless possibilities. All while reviving a timeless design from one of the most classic drum machines of all time. Taking a modern approach, the RD6 Silver lets you tap into the sounds of the venerable TR-606. As well as throwing in some new features that are sure to impress.
RD6 gives you punchy bass drums, sizzling hi-hats and the authentic BR-110 clap sound. All ready to be manipulated to your liking, the RD6 is an analog beat-making machine!
Complete Control
Enhancing the way you perform, Behringer’s RD-6 features a 64-step drum sequencer. Allowing you to perform real-time switching between 32 separate patterns. With this, you can build song structures on-the-go and edit them to your liking. As well as mix any of the 8 different drum sounds by adjusting the dedicated level knobs.
What’s more, the RD6 also comes with a distortion based on the DS-1. So you can spice up your tones by flipping on the switch and fine-tuning the level of distortion. Each RD6 pattern can also be chained into a whole song with up to 256 bars; adding up to eight and a half minutes of funky beats!
USB Control
Bringing the lovable analog sound to the modern era, the RD6 features USB connectivity for easy sync and MIDI triggering. Allowing you to control your drum machine with your DAW, swap out songs and patterns, or trigger individual sounds.
The Numbers
Finally, the RD-6 boasts 11 knobs and 26 buttons. All of which are laid out in an intuitive format that ensures you have fun with your beat creation. Input and Output connections on the RD6 include: Open or Closed Hi-Hat, Clap, Cymbal. Low and Hi Tom, Snare and Bass Drum Voice Outs; Start/Stop for connecting foot pedals; MIDI IN/OUT/THRU over USB; 5 PIN MIDI ports.
