Fender American Professional Series
Taking it's place in the Fender family as the slightly older brother to the Stratocaster, the Telecaster was the first solid-body electric to gain widespread commercial success. Since it's first inception in 1950, there has been no slowing down for the much loved Tele. In most Telecasters, you'll find a neck and bridge pickup (typically a single coil) providing that famous twang, often in the hands of a blues or jazz aficionado. There has been a variety of Telecaster series released since the original, and we make sure to keep as many of the beautiful guitars in stock as possible.
The 2017 Fender American Professional Series replaces the American Standard Series which has been in production since 1987. The iconic design history of Fender instruments has always been one of evolution not revolution and the new American Pro series is no exception. Subtle changes such as new V-mod pickups, an enhanced neck profile and a treble bleed circuit have been made to each model in the series whilst still preserving the integrity of the design, build quality, playability and tone of a classic Fender instrument.
