Elixir 10-46 Lights aka Regular or Vintage Lights.
I currently have these on my Strat, Tele, DOT/335, SG, a flying V, an 80s SuperStrat & my Dimebag! Elixir are wothout amy doubt the best strings I've used in all my life and I've been mucking around with guitars since the esrly 1990s. Despite mainly having vintage guitars except for one or two, like my Dimebag, these suit me & the guitars perfectly as most came out with this size. They're perfect for jazz, rock & metal, especially if you drop tune for those awesome sounding chuggity chuggs!
In regards to their longevity: im being honest and now for over 1yr I've had them on my all my guitars. They still look clean & shiney and they still sound crisp & bright! I've not encountered that from another brand of strings and I've been mucking around with guitars since the early 1990s. Elixir are the best.
Dont believe try them. Hey these particular Elixir Lights are only $22, so why the heck not!🤘
