Supply DCM6 with phantom power (48V), and the onboard DYNAMITE preamp will instantly deliver +30dB of clean, transparent gain at the touch of a button. Not only does this make the DCM6 much louder than your average dynamic mics, it removes the need for an inline preamp, resulting in a lower noise floor and virtually noise-free recordings.
