Additional Information
In 1990, the only “USA American” Squier Stratocasters were a small and unusual run produced in California for about a year, from late 1989 to 1990. Parts were shipped from Mexico and assembled in the USA as a temporary measure during a production transition period. At the time, Squier manufacturing had largely moved to Korea, and soon after to China and Indonesia. These USA-made Squier models are considered rare and are regarded as some of the best-built Squiers ever made, known for their high quality and authentic Fender tone.
