Every Desert StoryLines ukulele is the result of a unique collaboration between Kala Brand Music and Australian Aboriginal artists, honouring their culture and storytelling through authentic artwork. A portion of each sale goes directly to the artist and their community, helping preserve their traditions and support ongoing creativity.

This artwork by Evelyn Young celebrates the bush food known as “Black Apple” or “Bushplum.” Resembling a plum with seeds, it represents the tradition of gathering food from the land, as has been done for generations. The piece honours the connection to country and the passing of knowledge to the next generation, reflecting respect, heritage, and continuity.
