The Katoh HISPANIA is an outstanding instrument. A slim body, fitted with the SG1 Digital Smart EQ, developed and produced by the manufacturers of Katoh in conjunction with DOUBLE Acoustics. The finger style pickup has dual inputs with under-saddle piezo and microphone which is capable of accurately reproducing the tone and dynamics of a player's performance. The EQ also features DOUBLE's DSP module and sound processing that includes a pristine reverb and delay effects to enhance a player's dynamics.

When practising alone, the SG1 can be connected to headphones without disturbing others, or to an amp for impressive musical performances. OTG functionality to with USB C charging socket, allows the system to connect to recording devices such as mobile phones or computers and enabling direct recording without the need for sound card conversion.

The Hispania's crossover design features a chambered solid body that blends Katoh’s expertise in acoustics with the features of solid body electrics. The guitar boasts a classical tone from an aesthetically streamlined body design typical of Katoh stage guitars. It retains the warmth and tone of classic guitars while providing the scope for broadening your tonal pallet.
