D’Addario Circuit Breaker 10ft Instrument Cable – Latching Switch, Straight to Right-Angle

The D’Addario Circuit Breaker PW-AGLRA-10 is a 10-foot instrument cable featuring a built-in latching kill switch for quiet instrument changes. With a straight 1/4-inch plug at one end and a right-angle 1/4-inch plug at the other, it provides a convenient connection for compatible electric guitars, bass guitars and amplifiers.

Latching Kill Switch

The built-in kill switch allows players to mute the instrument signal before disconnecting a cable. Press the switch once to mute the signal, then press it again to restore the connection.

Unlike a momentary switch, the latching design remains in its selected state without needing to be held down. This helps avoid unwanted pops and other switching noise during instrument changes.

Straight-to-Right-Angle Connectors

The cable features one straight and one right-angle 1/4-inch mono connector. The angled plug provides a lower-profile connection for compatible instruments, while the straight plug connects to a suitable amplifier or other audio input.

Oxygen-Free Copper and Dual-Layer Shielding

The PW-AGLRA-10 uses a 24 AWG oxygen-free copper conductor and a low-capacitance design to preserve the instrument’s tonal character. Dual-layer shielding helps reject external interference that can introduce unwanted noise into the signal.

Solderless Plug Construction

The cable features solderless plug connections, allowing suitable repairs or length adjustments without soldering. Gold-plated plug contacts provide corrosion resistance for regular use.
