Fender Dual Professional 18W 2x10" Guitar Combo Amplifier – Tweed (1947)

This 1947 Fender Dual Professional is a remarkably original example of one of Fender’s earliest professional amplifiers. Its distinctive V-front cabinet, early tweed covering and dual 10" Jensen speakers capture an important stage in Fender amplifier history, shortly before the model evolved into the Super.

Classic Early Fender Tube Tone

An approximately 18W tube circuit with dual 6L6 power tubes delivers rich vintage response, strong natural dynamics and increasingly gritty overdrive as the volume rises. Two channels and four inputs provide the straightforward control layout of Fender’s earliest professional designs.

Remarkably Original Condition

The original Jensen speakers, transformers, pots, knobs, tweed, name plate, grille cloth and tube chart remain with the amplifier. Only the handle, two filter capacitors and power cord are noted replacements.

Why Buy the 1947 Fender Dual Professional?

With its short production history, original components and distinctive early Fender construction, this is a significant collector-grade amplifier with genuine historical character.
