Rickenbacker 620VP (1990s) Electric Guitar – Fireglo

The Rickenbacker 620VP is a USA-made solid-body electric guitar, built in Santa Ana, California, and fitted with Rickenbacker's vintage-style "toaster" pickups in place of the standard Hi-Gain units. Combining the famous "cresting wave" body, neck-through maple construction and the classic chime of vintage Rickenbacker pickups, it delivers the jangle and character that have made Rickenbacker one of the most distinctive names in guitar.

Classic Rickenbacker Jangle

The vintage-style "toaster" pickups give the 620VP a bright, clear and chiming voice, with the sparkle and bite that define the classic Rickenbacker sound. Lower in output than the standard Hi-Gain pickups, they deliver an open, articulate tone that shines on clean jangle and rhythm parts, and takes on a raw, gritty edge when pushed with overdrive or fuzz.

Twin volume and tone controls, a blend control and a 3-way pickup selector provide a wide range of sounds, while the Rick-O-Sound stereo output lets you send each pickup to its own amp or channel.

Smooth, Solid Playability

The neck-through maple construction gives the 620VP excellent sustain, stability and a smooth transition from neck to body, while the rosewood fingerboard with pearloid triangle inlays and 24 3/4" scale make for comfortable, easy playing.

With its iconic looks, vintage-style pickups and genuine Rickenbacker craftsmanship, this 620VP is a standout instrument for players and collectors alike.
