Jargar Classic 3rd A Double Bass String – Forte
The Jargar Classic 3rd A Double Bass String is a single replacement string designed for standard orchestral double bass tuning. Its Forte tension provides a firm playing feel, strong projection and a stable response across different playing styles.
Constructed with a flexible steel core and chrome-steel winding, the string produces a warm, focused sound with clearly defined harmonics. It is suitable for both arco and pizzicato playing and can be fitted to compatible 3/4 and 4/4 double basses.
Please note: This product contains one A string in Forte/heavy tension, not a complete string set. Confirm the required scale length and tension before installation. Forte strings are not recommended for tuning a whole step above standard orchestral pitch.
