Pirastro Tonica New Formula 4/4 Violin String Set
The Pirastro Tonica New Formula set is designed for full-size 4/4 violins. Its nylon-core strings produce a lively, rounded sound with a balanced character across all four strings, an open and direct response and reduced background hiss.
The standard medium-tension set combines a silvery steel ball-end E string, aluminium-wound synthetic-core A string and silver-wound synthetic-core D and G strings. Tonica strings respond readily to different bowing styles and provide a comfortable left-hand feel across the fingerboard.
