Cort Artisan A5 Plus FMMH 5-String Bass – Open Pore Black Cherry
The Cort Artisan A5 Plus FMMH is a professional five-string electric bass built for dependable performance, tonal flexibility and comfortable playability. Its neck-through construction allows string vibration to transfer consistently throughout the instrument, producing tight lows, rich mids and excellent sustain.
A figured maple top adds clarity and visual depth to the warm-sounding mahogany body. The five-piece maple and panga panga neck is paired with a bound panga panga fingerboard, 24 medium-jumbo frets and a comfortable 34-inch scale.
Bartolini MK-1 pickups and an MK-1 three-band preamp provide warm, punchy tones with active and passive operation. Hipshot Ultralite tuners improve balance and tuning accuracy, while the Hipshot TransTone bridge supports both string-through-body and top-loading configurations. Finished in Open Pore Black Cherry with platinum-silver hardware.
