Alvarez Artist ABT60CE-8 8-String Baritone Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Shadowburst

The Alvarez Artist ABT60CE-8 combines the extended low register of a baritone guitar with the added depth and shimmer of an eight-string configuration. Tuned from B to B, it features octave strings on the third and fourth courses, creating a fuller, more textured sound without the feel of a conventional twelve-string guitar.

Its solid A+ Sitka spruce top is paired with African mahogany back and sides for strong projection, warmth and clarity. Alvarez’s FST2 forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, Bi-Level bridge and genuine bone nut and saddle support excellent response and sustain.

A Venetian cutaway provides comfortable upper-fret access, while the L.R. Baggs StagePro EQ and Element undersaddle pickup deliver natural amplified tone with onboard volume, bass, treble, phase and tuner controls. The Shadowburst gloss top is complemented by natural semi-gloss mahogany back and sides.
