Alvarez MGA70CE Custom Masterworks Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Shadowburst
The Alvarez MGA70CE Custom Masterworks is a premium Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar with an all-solid tonewood construction, comfortable cutaway and refined ergonomic appointments. Its solid AAA Sitka spruce top is paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering strong projection, clear note separation and a broad tonal response.
Alvarez’s forward-shifted, scalloped FS6 bracing promotes efficient top movement and an immediate response. A slim ebony armrest bevel softens the front edge of the body, while a second rear comfort bevel allows the guitar to rest more naturally against the player during extended sessions.
The African mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret and carries an East Indian rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets and premium mother-of-pearl inlays. An LR Baggs HiFi pickup system uses dual bridge-plate sensors and discreet electronics to reproduce the guitar’s natural acoustic character when amplified.
The cutaway body, abalone purfling and gloss Shadowburst top complete its premium appearance. An Alvarez AFC30 Flexicase is included.
