Alvarez Masterworks MP66e Acoustic-Electric Parlor Guitar – Shadowburst
The Alvarez Masterworks MP66e is a premium acoustic-electric parlor guitar combining compact dimensions with a warm, articulate all-solid mahogany voice. Its solid African mahogany top, back and sides provide a focused midrange, clear note separation and responsive dynamics suited to fingerstyle playing, recording and accompaniment.
Alvarez’s forward-shifted, scalloped FS6 bracing gives the compact soundboard greater freedom to resonate, improving projection and response. The 24-inch scale, 12th-fret neck joint and 44.45mm nut offer a comfortable, traditional parlor-style playing experience.
An LR Baggs HiFi system uses dual bridge-plate sensors and high-fidelity electronics to preserve the guitar’s natural acoustic character when amplified. Premium details include Paua abalone purfling, an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge pins and open-gear tuners. An Alvarez AFC30 Flexicase is included.
