Aquila 110U Lava Series Soprano Ukulele String Set – High G
The Aquila 110U Lava Series Soprano Ukulele String Set is designed for soprano ukuleles using standard High G GCEA tuning. Aquila identifies the exact 110U as the Lava Series soprano High G set, tuned G⁴-C⁴-E⁴-A⁴.
The Lava Series uses Aquila’s Super Nylgut formulation in a distinctive grey-black colour with a touch of mother-of-pearl, inspired by volcanic rock. Aquila states that the Lava strings retain the same mechanical and sound properties as its white-pearl Super Nylgut ukulele strings.
Lava Series Super Nylgut Construction
The 110U set uses Super Nylgut synthetic strings, providing a smooth playing surface, responsive attack and stable performance for soprano ukulele.
High G GCEA Tuning
This set is configured for standard re-entrant High G tuning: G⁴-C⁴-E⁴-A⁴, making it suitable for conventional soprano ukulele setups.
Grey-Black Pearl Appearance
Lava Series strings feature a grey-black colour with a mother-of-pearl effect, giving the instrument a distinctive appearance while retaining Aquila’s Super Nylgut performance characteristics.
