Meinl Byzance Brilliant 13" Serpents Hi-Hats
The Meinl Byzance Brilliant 13" Serpents Hi-Hats are Derek Roddy signature cymbals designed for versatility, articulation and distinctive blended character. The pair combines two different finishes, hammering styles and noticeably different weights to produce a crisp closed response with a warm, dirty wash when played open.
Hand hammered from B20 bronze, the Serpents Hi-Hats deliver a high-mid pitch, mid-bright timbre and smooth playing feel. Their compact 13-inch size provides fast response and clear definition for rock, pop, fusion, funk, R&B, reggae and studio applications.
Please note: The two cymbals intentionally have different finishes, hammering patterns and weights. This is part of the Serpents design and not a mismatched pair. Hi-hat stand and clutch are not included.
