Fender California Standard Redondo CE – Fiesta Red

The Fender California Standard Redondo CE in Fiesta Red with an Ivory pickguard is a cutaway acoustic-electric guitar from Fender’s California Standard series. 

Its Redondo dreadnought-style body uses all-laminate construction, with a laminated spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides. Fender pairs this with a 25.5-inch scale okoume neck, walnut fingerboard and onboard Fender electronics with volume, tone and an integrated tuner.

Laminated Spruce and Sapele Construction

The California Standard Redondo CE uses a laminated spruce top with laminated sapele back and sides, finished in gloss polyurethane. The Fiesta Red version also features ivory body binding, an inlaid dual-ring rosette and a 1-ply Ivory pickguard.

Comfortable C-Shape Neck

The okoume neck features a “C” shape, gloss urethane finish and a walnut fingerboard with a 12-inch radius. Fender specifies 20 vintage-size frets, a 25.5-inch scale length and a Micarta nut measuring 1.6875 inches wide.

Fender Electronics with Built-In Tuner

The onboard Fender electronics provide Volume and Tone controls, plus an integrated electronic tuner with an on/off switch and low-battery indicator. This allows the guitar to connect directly to compatible amplification, recording and effects equipment.
