Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazzmaster – Laurel Fingerboard, 3-Color Sunburst
The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazzmaster in 3-Color Sunburst with an Indian laurel fingerboard recreates the look and feel of a 1960s-style Jazzmaster while adding modern playability.
Its poplar offset body is paired with a maple “C”-shape neck and a 9.5-inch-radius Indian laurel fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets. Dual Fender-Designed Alnico single-coil pickups provide classic Jazzmaster-style tone, while dedicated rhythm and lead circuits add the traditional dual-circuit switching associated with the model.
Classic Jazzmaster Electronics
The guitar uses two Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups with separate lead and rhythm circuits. In lead mode, the guitar provides Master Volume and Master Tone controls with neck, neck-and-bridge, or bridge pickup selection. The rhythm circuit uses the neck pickup with separate thumbwheel volume and tone controls.
Vintage-Style Floating Vibrato
A 6-saddle vintage-style bridge with non-locking floating vibrato provides the characteristic Jazzmaster vibrato feel. Fender pairs this with a vintage-style tremolo arm and vintage-style tuning machines for a period-inspired hardware setup.
Comfortable “C”-Shape Neck
The maple neck features a tinted gloss urethane finish, a slim “C” profile and bolt-on construction. The Indian laurel fingerboard has a 9.5-inch radius, 21 narrow-tall frets and white dot inlays. A bone nut measures 1.650 inches / 42mm wide.
