The Cort Essence GA4 is a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar designed for players who want a balanced, versatile sound for strumming, flatpicking and fingerstyle playing. Its torrefied solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce a warm, open acoustic character with clear articulation and projection.

Featuring a Venetian cutaway, Fishman Presys VT electronics and a Natural Semi Gloss finish, the Essence GA4 combines traditional acoustic construction with practical features for recording and live performance.

Rich Tone from Aged Spruce and Mahogany

Cort's ATV (Aged to Vintage) treatment is applied to the solid Sitka spruce top and bracing to produce a more mature, resonant character. Advanced scalloped X-bracing improves responsiveness, while the mahogany back and sides provide warmth and a balanced midrange response.

Versatile Grand Auditorium Body

The Grand Auditorium body offers a balance between the full sound of a dreadnought and the comfort of a smaller acoustic guitar. Its Venetian cutaway allows easier upper-fret access, while the mahogany C-shaped neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a comfortable playing feel.

Fishman Presys VT Electronics

The built-in Fishman Presys VT system features an S-Core pickup with simple volume and tone controls for amplified playing. Vintage open-gear tuners, a genuine bone nut and saddle, and herringbone decorative detailing complete the guitar's traditional appearance.
