Overview
Danelectro BR-1 The Breakdown Overdrive Pedal
The Danelectro BR-1 The Breakdown recreates the organic sound and response of a sought-after overdrive pedal used during the late 1960s. Its six-position Break Up control progressively drives the front end of an amplifier, providing a broad range of vintage-style boost, overdrive and distortion textures.
Break Up positions 1 to 3 deliver softer breakup suitable for adding warmth and character, while positions 4 to 6 provide increasingly powerful drive and distortion. A separate Volume control adjusts the overall output level, keeping operation straightforward and performance focused.
Please note: The BR-1 does not have a battery compartment. It requires a separately available regulated 9V DC, centre-negative power supply.
