DiMarzio DP187 The Cruiser Bridge Pickup – Cream with Nickel Pole Pieces

The DiMarzio DP187 The Cruiser Bridge is a hum-cancelling, Strat-sized rail pickup designed to deliver open, vocal midrange and familiar single-coil-style harmonic character without traditional 60-cycle hum. Its wound strings sound fuller than those of a conventional single-coil, while the bridge model’s distinctive midrange scoop helps create wide, clearly separated chord tones.

A ceramic magnet and reduced magnetic pull allow the pickup to be positioned closer to the strings for increased output without excessive string pull. Four-conductor wiring provides flexible installation options, while the cream body and nickel pole pieces give this version its specific appearance.

Please note: This is the DP187 Cruiser Bridge model with cream covers and nickel pole pieces. It is not the DP186 Cruiser Neck pickup or the standard DP187CR version with black pole pieces. Check the pickup dimensions and your guitar’s wiring requirements before installation.
