DW Performance Series 14" × 6.5" Steel Snare Drum – Polished Chrome
The DW Performance Series Steel Snare Drum combines a commanding metallic attack with focused tone and controlled musical overtones. Its 14" × 6.5" dimensions provide additional body and depth while retaining the articulation and cutting response required for live performance and studio recording.
The 1mm rolled, beadless steel shell produces a powerful crack that can project through dense mixes without becoming excessively harsh. DW Performance quarter-sized turret lugs and True-Pitch tension rods offer precise, dependable tuning, while triple-flanged hoops provide an open response and consistent rimshots.
A DW MAG magnetic throw-off enables smooth, reliable snare engagement. Finished in polished Chrome Over Steel with matching chrome hardware, this versatile snare complements a wide range of drum kits and musical styles.
