The DW Performance Series 9x12 Rack Tom delivers the warm, punchy response and projection associated with DW’s professional maple drums. Its eight-ply North American maple shell uses DW’s HVX grain-orientation technology, combining horizontal, vertical and diagonal plies to create a strong fundamental tone with controlled resonance.

A precision-cut 45-degree back-cut bearing edge supports clear attack and sustained tone across a broad tuning range. DW’s True-Pitch tension rods allow detailed tuning adjustments, while the compact Quarter Turret lugs reduce shell mass and maintain the signature DW appearance.

The included STM Suspension Tom Mount supports the drum without restricting shell vibration. Triple-flanged hoops, chrome hardware and DW heads by Remo complete the professional configuration. The Gold Sparkle FinishPly wrap provides a durable, stage-ready finish designed to match compatible DW Performance Series Gold Sparkle drum kits.
