Yamaha DXR12 mk3 12-Inch Powered Loudspeaker

The Yamaha DXR12 mk3 is a professional 2-way, bi-amplified powered loudspeaker designed to balance high output with portability. Its 12-inch low-frequency driver and 1.75-inch high-frequency diaphragm deliver a maximum output of 134 dB SPL, making it suitable for front-of-house systems, floor monitoring and stage side-fill applications.

A newly developed 2000W peak Class-D amplifier provides substantial headroom, while Yamaha's FIR-X tuning and Drive Motion Calibration help maintain accurate phase response and controlled low-frequency performance. Bluetooth audio streaming, intelligent feedback suppression and control through Yamaha's D-Remote app add flexible digital functionality for modern live sound systems.

Powerful 2000W Class-D Amplification

The DXR12 mk3 delivers 2000W peak power, divided between 1700W for the low-frequency section and 300W for the high-frequency section. Continuous RMS output is rated at 1000W, giving the loudspeaker ample power for demanding professional sound reinforcement applications.

12-Inch Two-Way Speaker System

The enclosure incorporates a 12-inch cone woofer with a 2.5-inch voice coil and a 1.75-inch diaphragm compression driver. Its frequency range extends from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, with a 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage pattern and FIR-X crossover at 1.8 kHz.

Advanced Yamaha DSP Processing

FIR-X tuning combines FIR filtering and corrective EQ to reduce phase distortion, while Drive Motion Calibration corrects LF driver motion for more linear low-frequency reproduction. Dedicated DSP modes support FOH/Main, Monitor, DJ, Live Music and Speech applications.

Bluetooth and D-Remote Control

Bluetooth 5.0 supports wireless audio streaming, while Yamaha's D-Remote app allows compatible iOS and Android devices to remotely control speaker functions. An intelligent feedback suppressor is also included to help control unwanted feedback during live applications.

Flexible Mounting and Monitor Use

The DXR12 mk3 features dual 35 mm pole sockets with 0° or -7° positioning and can be used as a floor monitor at a 52° angle. Rigging points are provided for installed applications, and Yamaha offers the optional UB-DXRDHR12A U-bracket and SPCVR-DXR123 protective cover.
