Yamaha DXR15 mk3 15-Inch Powered Loudspeaker

The Yamaha DXR15 mk3 is a 2-way, bi-amplified powered loudspeaker designed for professional live sound, DJ, front-of-house and fixed-installation applications. Powerful 2000 W Class-D Amplification

The DXR15 mk3 uses Yamaha’s 2000 W Class-D amplifier platform, rated at 2000 W peak / 1000 W RMS across the LF and HF sections. 15-Inch Two-Way Speaker System

The two-way bass-reflex enclosure incorporates a 15-inch LF cone with a 3-inch voice coil and a 1-inch throat compression driver with a 1.75-inch diaphragm for high frequencies. Its specified coverage pattern is 90° horizontal × 60° vertical, with FIR-X crossover processing at 1.8 kHz.

Advanced Yamaha DSP Processing

Yamaha equips the DXR mk3 series with 96 kHz DSP and Advanced FIR-X tuning to help minimise phase distortion and maintain clear, accurate reproduction. Drive Motion Calibration is used to correct LF driver behaviour, while dedicated FOH/MAIN and MONITOR DSP modes adapt the speaker for different placements and applications.

Bluetooth and D-Remote Control

Bluetooth connectivity enables audio playback from compatible mobile devices, while Yamaha’s D-Remote app provides remote access to speaker parameters and operating status. This allows adjustments and monitoring to be carried out away from the rear control panel.

Flexible Installation and Monitor Use

The molded polypropylene enclosure includes dual-angle 35 mm pole sockets for 0° or -7° positioning, rigging points and a 52° floor-monitor angle. The optional UB-DXR15A U-bracket supports additional installation configurations, while the optional SPCVR-DXR153 cover is available for transport and storage protection.
