Yamaha FG9 RX Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Natural
The Yamaha FG9 RX is a flagship dreadnought-style acoustic-electric guitar handcrafted in Japan for exceptional projection, clarity and dynamic response. Its solid Adirondack spruce top features scalloped X bracing, delivering power and sensitivity across a wide playing range. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides add rich bass response and complex harmonic overtones.
A rounded V-shaped mahogany neck provides a comfortable, confident feel, while the bolt-on neck joint enhances projection and supports easier long-term maintenance. Yamaha’s three-way Atmosfeel pickup system combines an undersaddle piezo sensor, internal microphone and soundboard transducer to reproduce a natural amplified tone.
Premium appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A hardshell case is included.
