Overview
Meinl Generation X 14-Inch Filter China Cymbal
The Meinl Generation X 14-Inch Filter China delivers a fast, sharp effect with a short sustain and distinctive modern character. Its thin construction and waved edge produce a controlled China sound that is quieter than most traditional China cymbals.
Fast and Controlled China Sound
The Filter China produces a high-pitched, mid-bright response with a quick attack and short decay. Its waved edge helps limit sustain, making it suitable for accents and rhythmic effects.
Generation X Construction
Made from Meinl's FX9 alloy, the cymbal features wide-blade lathing, a traditional finish and Pressure Point Technology shaping. Its experimental sound works well in rock, pop, fusion and contemporary percussion setups.
Please Note: This listing is for one 14-inch Filter China cymbal. Cymbal stand and mounting hardware are not included.
