Meinl Generation X 14-Inch Filter China Cymbal

The Meinl Generation X 14-Inch Filter China is a Thomas Lang signature effects cymbal designed to produce a fast, sharp and controlled China sound. Specially positioned cut-outs, a thin profile and a waved edge reduce its volume and sustain, creating distinctive accents without overwhelming the rest of the drum kit.

Made from Meinl’s FX9 alloy, the GX-14FCH delivers a high-pitched, mid-bright response with an experimental and modern character. Its quick decay makes it suitable for short rhythmic accents, effects setups and stacking with other cymbals across rock, pop, fusion, R&B, reggae, studio, world and electronic music.

Please note: This is the standard GX-14FCH Filter China without jingles. It should not be confused with the GX-14FCH-J Jingle Filter China.
