Chambered Construction with Classic Jet Style

The chambered mahogany body provides a resonant tonal foundation with a strong attack, present midrange, full low end and clear musical highs. A carved solid maple top adds definition and visual depth, while the Robusto Burst gloss finish highlights the guitar’s distinctive single-cutaway Jet shape.

Sculpted forearm and body contours create a balanced, comfortable playing position. The rounded heel improves access to the upper frets, making it easier to move between rhythm playing, melodic lead lines and extended chord shapes. Aged white binding with black-and-white purfling completes the guitar’s refined Gretsch appearance.

Comfortable Performance “C” Neck

The set mahogany neck features Gretsch’s Performance “C” profile, designed to provide a balanced and comfortable feel across the entire fingerboard. Its rounded shape offers enough substance for confident chord work while remaining responsive for lead playing.

The bound ebony fingerboard has a 10"–14" compound radius. The rounder feel near the nut supports comfortable chord playing, while the flatter upper register accommodates faster runs and wide string bends.

Twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets provide a controlled playing surface, while Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays maintain the unmistakable Gretsch aesthetic. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots improve fretboard visibility on dark stages.

Powerful Sphera Twin Six Humbuckers

The Electromatic Premier Jet is powered by two Sphera Twin Six humbuckers designed to deliver dynamic, expressive and powerful guitar tones. Each pickup features 12 individually adjustable pole pieces, allowing precise string response and attack.

Alnico VI magnets and specially calibrated coil winds provide a versatile balance of brilliance, warmth and power. The bridge pickup delivers articulate attack and aggressive drive for rock rhythms and lead playing, while the neck pickup provides fuller clean sounds, warm overdrive and smooth melodic tones. Vacuum wax potting helps minimise unwanted noise and feedback at higher gain levels.

Advanced Tonal Control

A master volume control with a treble-bleed circuit helps retain clarity as the guitar’s volume is reduced. Separate no-load tone controls for the neck and bridge pickups allow each pickup’s response to be shaped independently.

Pulling the master volume control engages Gretsch’s custom Lumen Filter. This tightens the guitar’s response for snappier clean sounds, more precise high-gain rhythm playing and increased note definition.

A three-position toggle switch provides quick access to the bridge pickup, both pickups together or the neck pickup. This flexible control system allows the Premier Jet to cover pristine cleans, full rhythm tones, expressive leads and aggressive overdrive.

Locking Hardware for Reliable Performance

The LockDown locking adjustable wraparound bridge creates a secure connection between the strings and body. Its locking posts support stable intonation, strong energy transfer, percussive attack and lasting sustain.

Die-cast sealed locking tuners make string changes faster while helping maintain reliable tuning. Locking strap buttons provide additional security for energetic stage performances, while the Graph Tech NuBone nut supports smooth string movement and tuning consistency.
