Meinl SB307 Cajon Husk Brushes – Pair

The Meinl SB307 Cajon Husk Brushes use lightweight bundles of natural straw to create a sound between traditional drum brushes and multi-rods. They produce a thick, low-end response with a softer attack, making them suitable for cajons, drum kits and other percussion instruments.

Natural Straw Construction

The bundled straw provides a warm, textured sound without the pronounced attack of conventional drumsticks. The SB307 is particularly useful for creating a rounded, low-end thump on a cajon while offering an alternative playing texture on other percussion instruments.

Adjustable Playing Response

Adjustable control rings allow players to change the spread and flexibility of the straw bundles. This provides control over the brushes’ playing feel and response for different rhythmic techniques.

Comfortable Handles

The brushes feature vinyl-wrapped handles for a controlled grip. Their medium-weight construction and 36.3cm length make them suitable for a range of cajon and drum kit applications.
