Katoh MCG50S Classical Guitar – Solid European Spruce Top

The Katoh MCG50S is a full-size classical guitar designed for developing players and experienced musicians seeking a responsive nylon-string instrument. Featuring a solid European spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, it delivers a balanced tonal character with clear articulation and warm resonance.

Its traditional classical construction, Spanish fan bracing and high-gloss finish make the MCG50S a versatile choice for classical repertoire, fingerstyle playing and everyday practice.

Solid European Spruce Top and Rosewood Body

The solid European spruce soundboard provides clarity and dynamic response, while the Indian rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth. Traditional Spanish fan bracing supports the guitar's acoustic resonance and projection, allowing individual notes and chords to sound clear and balanced.

Traditional Classical Playing Feel

The mahogany neck features a Spanish neck joint and a rosewood fingerboard with a 650mm scale length. A 52mm nut width provides traditional classical string spacing, while the bone nut and saddle support efficient string vibration transfer.

Refined Construction and Appointments

The MCG50S features Indian rosewood binding, a natural wood mosaic rosette and gold tuning machines for a traditional appearance. Savarez strings and a high-gloss polyurethane finish complete this classical guitar.
