Alvarez Laureate LT66e 000-12 Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Daybreak

The Alvarez Laureate LT66e Daybreak is a 000-12 acoustic-electric guitar built with an all-solid African mahogany body for a warm, focused and articulate acoustic response. Its 12th-fret neck joint and full 25.5-inch scale combine traditional proportions with a comfortable medium-sized body, while the Daybreak gloss finish adds a subtle light burst across the top.

Part of Alvarez’s Laureate Series, the LT66e uses hand-finished FS6 forward-shifted bracing, premium ebony appointments and an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system. Alvarez also fits a bone nut and saddle, premium open-gear tuners and D’Addario XS strings for a refined acoustic-electric setup suited to stage, studio and unplugged playing.

All-Solid African Mahogany Construction

The LT66e features a solid African mahogany top, back and sides, giving the instrument a consistent all-solid tonewood construction. Alvarez specifically identifies this model as the all-mahogany LT option within the Laureate range.

Hand-Finished FS6 Bracing

Alvarez’s FS6 bracing is based on a traditional forward-shifted pattern. On Laureate models, the braces are hand-sanded and cut from quartersawn Sitka spruce selected for straight, fine grain to support responsiveness and efficient top vibration.

Ebony Appointments and 12-Fret Design

The fingerboard, bridge and headstock plate are made from ebony, complemented by premium abalone inlays and ivoroid binding. The African mahogany neck joins the body at the 12th fret, reinforcing the traditional 000-12 design.

LR Baggs HiFi Electronics

For amplified performance, the LT66e is equipped with an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system. This system uses bridge-plate transducers to capture the acoustic character of the guitar for live and recording applications.
