The Tama S.L.P. Mod Bubinga snare delivers a surprisingly full and powerful voice from its compact 12-inch diameter. Its deeper 7-inch shell expands the drum’s tonal range, combining the naturally rich low-end character of bubinga with a solid, articulate crack.
The 6mm, nine-ply bubinga shell responds across a broad tuning range, retaining body and sensitivity even at lower tunings. Tama Sound Arc hoops produce a crisp attack while allowing the shell to resonate openly. Its compact dimensions and distinctive voice make it an excellent main or auxiliary snare for modern pop, hip-hop, electronic and hybrid setups.
