LP Matador M1406M Stave Tumba Cajon – Mahogany Stain

The LP Matador M1406M Stave Tumba Cajon combines a rounded Tumba-style body with the playing response of a traditional cajon. Its mango wood shell and poplar playing surface provide deep bass notes and clear slap tones for acoustic performances and percussion setups.

Stave-Constructed Mango Wood Shell

The rounded mango wood shell features an enlarged lower body that supports bass resonance. Its narrower upper section provides a responsive playing area for higher-pitched accents.

Comfortable Playing Surface

The tapered poplar soundboard offers a range of bass and slap sounds. Rounded upper edges and a textured seating surface provide comfort and stability while playing.

Rear Sound Port and Mahogany Finish

The rear sound port supports bass projection and allows access for microphone placement. A Mahogany Stain finish completes the instrument's distinctive appearance.

Please Note: The Mahogany Stain designation refers to the finish. The shell is made from mango wood, and the playing surface is poplar.
