Martin M625 Premium Tenor Ukulele Strings
Martin M625 Premium Ukulele Strings are designed specifically for tenor ukuleles, combining a smooth playing feel with clear, balanced tone, precise intonation and strong sustain and projection. Developed exclusively with Aquila, the strings are made from Martin’s Graphite Gray Polygut material.
The four-string tenor set uses gauges of .024, .030, .033 and .024 and carries a manufacturer-listed total tension of 37.1. Martin uses its Premium Polygut strings on ukuleles handcrafted in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
Graphite Gray Polygut Construction
Martin developed its Premium Polygut strings exclusively with Aquila. The Graphite Gray Polygut material is designed to provide precise intonation, a clear and balanced tone, and strong sustain and projection.
Tenor Ukulele Gauge Set
The M625 is the tenor model in Martin’s Premium Polygut range. The current Martin specification uses .024, .030, .033 and .024 gauges across the A, E, C and G strings respectively.
