Overview
Mackie MDB-1P Passive Direct Box
The Mackie MDB-1P is a rugged passive direct box designed to connect guitars, basses, keyboards and other high-impedance sources to mixers or audio interfaces with a clean, balanced signal. Its passive design requires no external power, making it a reliable tool for live sound and studio setups.
Clean, Reliable Signal Conversion
A high-impedance 1/4" input converts unbalanced instrument signals to a balanced XLR output, while the parallel Thru output lets you feed an amplifier at the same time. The -15dB pad helps prevent distortion from hotter sources, and Ground Lift helps reduce hum caused by ground loops.
Why Buy the MDB-1P?
It offers simple, dependable signal conversion in Mackie’s Built-Like-A-Tank construction, ideal for musicians and engineers who need a durable DI without batteries or phantom power.
