Fender Player II Modified Telecaster SH – Maple, Olympic Pearl
The Fender Player II Modified Telecaster SH in Olympic Pearl with a maple fingerboard combines classic Telecaster character with upgraded electronics and modern performance hardware.
Its alder body is paired with a maple Modern “C” neck, 9.5-inch-radius maple fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The SH pickup layout combines a Player II Modified Humbucker in the neck with a Player II Noiseless Tele pickup in the bridge for a mix of fuller humbucker tones and classic Tele-style bite.
Player II Modified SH Electronics
The neck humbucker can be coil-split using the push/pull tone control, providing an additional single-coil-style neck sound. A treble-bleed circuit on the master volume helps retain high-frequency clarity when the volume is reduced. A three-position blade switch selects the neck pickup, both pickups or bridge pickup.
Modern “C” Maple Neck
The maple neck uses Fender’s Modern “C” profile with a satin urethane finish. Its one-piece maple fingerboard has a 9.5-inch radius, rolled edges, 22 medium jumbo frets and black dot position markers. A TUSQ nut and modern string tree support stable string movement and tuning.
Upgraded Telecaster Hardware
The Player II Modified Telecaster SH uses a 6-saddle string-through-body Tele bridge with block brass saddles, along with Deluxe Cast/Sealed locking tuners using all short posts. The Olympic Pearl version is finished with a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware.
