Authentic Early-’60s Jazz Bass Tone
Fender Pure Vintage ’62 Jazz Bass pickups recreate the punch, midrange growl and clear top end associated with early-1960s Jazz Bass instruments. This matched two-pickup set delivers vintage-level output with warm attack and detailed harmonic character.
Period-Correct Construction
Formvar-coated magnet wire provides a bright, glassy response, while Alnico 2 magnets produce complex harmonics and smoother mids. Flush-mounted pole pieces support balanced string response, and period-correct fibre bobbins with cloth-covered output wires complete the vintage-inspired construction.
