Overview
Rode VideoMic On-Camera Condenser Microphone with Rycote Lyre Shock Mount
The Rode VideoMic is a directional on-camera condenser microphone designed to capture focused, high-quality audio for filmmaking, interviews and video production.
Focused Audio for Camera Recording
Its 1/2-inch condenser capsule and supercardioid polar pattern concentrate on sound in front of the camera while reducing unwanted surrounding noise. A selectable 80Hz high-pass filter helps minimise low-frequency rumble, while -10dB and -20dB pad settings provide flexibility when recording louder sources.
Integrated Rycote Lyre Suspension
The built-in Rycote Lyre shock mount isolates the microphone from handling noise and vibrations generated by the camera or mounting system.
Why Buy the VideoMic?
With directional pickup, flexible level control and reliable shock isolation, the VideoMic is a versatile solution for improving audio quality in DSLR and video-camera recording.
