The RTOM LVMH14 Low Volume Mesh Drum Head is a 14-inch replacement drum head designed for quieter acoustic drum practice while retaining realistic stick response and rebound. Unlike a conventional acoustic drum head, the LVMH14 uses heavy-duty mesh material to reduce playing volume. RTOM also incorporates a specially designed centre sound patch that provides a more audible attack and a more realistic playing response during practice.

Low-Volume Practice Design

The LVMH14 replaces the existing acoustic drum head using traditional drumhead installation and tensioning. RTOM specifically positions the LV Mesh Head range as a budget-friendly low-volume solution for home practice, lessons, studios and other situations where reduced volume is preferred.

Heavy-Duty Mesh with Sound Patch

The 14-inch head uses durable mesh construction together with RTOM’s integrated sound patch. The patch is designed to increase audible attack and improve the realism of response compared with a plain mesh surface.

Please Note: This product is a replacement mesh drum head, not RTOM’s Black Hole snap-on practice system. The acoustic head must be removed before installing an LV Mesh Head.
