Overview
EMG SAV Active Single-Coil Pickup – Black
The EMG SAV is an active single-coil electric guitar pickup combining vintage-inspired Strat-style character with modern, low-noise performance. Its exposed flat Alnico V pole pieces provide balanced string response, particularly on guitars with flatter fingerboard radii.
Voiced after early Strat pickups, the SAV delivers familiar punch and “quack” with a smooth response for both clean and overdriven playing. The black pickup includes EMG’s Solderless Install System for straightforward installation without conventional pickup wiring.
Please note: This active pickup requires a 9V battery, which is not included.
