AMS GP680C Clear Teardrop Acoustic Guitar Scratchplate

The AMS GP680C is a clear teardrop-style scratchplate designed for compatible acoustic guitars. Featuring a traditional teardrop profile and self-adhesive backing, it provides a practical way to protect the guitar's top from contact with a pick during regular playing.

Its transparent design allows the natural appearance and finish of the guitar's soundboard to remain visible, making it suitable for players who prefer a discreet alternative to a coloured scratchplate.

Traditional Teardrop Design

The GP680C features a teardrop-shaped profile commonly used on acoustic guitars.

Its design provides a protective surface beside the soundhole, helping reduce direct pick contact with the guitar's top during strumming.

Clear Finish

The transparent scratchplate allows the guitar's existing colour, grain and finish to remain visible beneath it.

This makes the GP680C a practical option for acoustic guitars where maintaining the appearance of the soundboard is preferred.

Self-Adhesive Installation

The GP680C features self-adhesive backing for direct attachment to a compatible acoustic guitar top.

Its adhesive design allows installation without mounting screws or additional fastening hardware.

Please Note: Check the scratchplate's shape and fit against your guitar before installation. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive backing.
