TAMA MCH90SRC STARPHONIC Snare Claw Hook and Tension Bolt

The TAMA MCH90SRC is a genuine replacement claw hook and tension bolt assembly designed for compatible TAMA STARPHONIC snare drums. Featuring a short square-head tension bolt and a dedicated claw hook, it provides replacement hardware for the STARPHONIC drumhead tensioning system.

The assembly uses a W7/32-inch threaded tension bolt with a 42mm length and is designed for selected STARPHONIC snare drums equipped with TAMA's Freedom Lug and Grooved Hoop system.

STARPHONIC Claw Hook Design

The MCH90SRC features a claw hook designed to engage with the Grooved Hoop fitted to compatible STARPHONIC snare drums.

The hook works with the tension bolt to secure the drumhead and support the drum's tuning system.

Short Square-Head Tension Bolt

The assembly includes a short square-head tension bolt with a W7/32-inch thread and a 42mm length.

The bolt provides the tension adjustment required for the corresponding STARPHONIC drumhead assembly.

Freedom Lug and Grooved Hoop System

The STARPHONIC system allows the claw hooks to tilt backwards and disengage from the Grooved Hoop when the tension bolts are loosened.

This arrangement allows the drumhead to be removed without completely removing the tension bolts from the lugs, simplifying drumhead replacement.

Genuine TAMA Replacement Hardware

The MCH90SRC is listed in TAMA's official replacement-parts catalogue for selected STARPHONIC snare drums, including models with 14" x 6", 14" x 7" and 13" x 7" shell dimensions.

Its genuine replacement design provides the corresponding hardware for compatible snare drum maintenance and repairs.

Please Note: Check your snare drum's model and existing hardware against TAMA's replacement-parts specifications before installation.
