Sterling by Music Man StingRay RAYSS4 4-String Short Scale Bass Guitar - Purple Sparkle

Experience bold StingRay tone in a compact, comfortable design with the Sterling by Music Man RAYSS4 Short Scale Bass Guitar. Featuring a striking Purple Sparkle finish, a 30" scale length and a powerful neodymium humbucker, this four-string bass combines classic styling with versatile performance.

Compact Scale, Comfortable Playability

The 30" short scale reduces the distance between frets compared with a standard 34" bass, offering a relaxed playing feel. Its nyatoh body, roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium frets provide a comfortable platform for practice, recording and live performance.

Versatile Passive Electronics

A Sterling-designed neodymium humbucker delivers punchy bass tones, while the three-way rotary selector offers parallel, true single-coil and series modes. The push-push volume boost adds extra output when needed, with a dedicated tone control for further sound shaping.

Why Buy the Sterling StingRay RAYSS4?

With its distinctive Purple Sparkle finish, comfortable short-scale design and flexible pickup switching, the RAYSS4 is an excellent choice for bassists seeking compact playability without sacrificing tonal versatility.
