Fender Stratocaster®/Telecaster® Poodle Case – Brown

The Fender Stratocaster®/Telecaster® Poodle Case in Brown is a modern recreation of the distinctive case supplied with early 1954 Stratocaster guitars. It combines vintage-inspired styling with updated construction, using a birch plywood hardshell structure, textured brown vinyl exterior and gold-plated hardware.

Inside, a soft crushed red acrylic plush lining helps protect the instrument from scratches and everyday handling damage. A covered accessory compartment provides storage for items such as strings, picks and tuners, while the slim offset profile is designed to take up less storage space than many conventional rectangular cases.

Vintage-Inspired Poodle Case Design

The case is based on Fender's iconic 1954 “poodle” case design but is a current modern accessory, not an actual vintage case. Its distressed faux-cowhide-style brown exterior, gold hardware and red plush interior recreate the period appearance while incorporating contemporary construction.

Birch Plywood Hardshell Construction

A vinyl-wrapped birch plywood shell provides rigid protection for compatible guitars. The case also features a brown vinyl-wrapped steel-core carry handle for secure transport.

Soft Red Plush Interior

The interior uses crushed red acrylic plush to provide a soft contact surface around the instrument. Fender also includes a covered accessory compartment for storing smaller guitar accessories.

Stratocaster and Telecaster Compatibility

Fender specifies the case as fitting most right-handed Stratocaster models and both right- and left-handed Telecaster models. Because copies from other manufacturers can vary in dimensions, fit should not automatically be assumed for every Strat- or Tele-style guitar.
