Overview
TAMA Starphonic PSP146E 14" x 6" Spruce Snare Drum - Satin Natural Spruce
The TAMA Starphonic PSP146E combines the warm, expressive character of spruce with precision-engineered Starphonic hardware. Its 8mm, 9-ply spruce shell delivers a pleasing high-mid tone with clear attack and controlled projection, making it a versatile choice for live performances and studio recording.
Warm Spruce Tone with Clear Projection
The all-spruce shell offers natural resonance and musical warmth, while TAMA's Grooved Hoops enhance attack and articulation. A distinctive brown centre inlay complements the Satin Natural Spruce finish.
Responsive Hardware and Precise Control
Eight Freedom Lugs with Claw Hooks simplify drumhead changes, while the Linear-Drive strainer provides smooth snare engagement. The 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires capture subtle playing dynamics with excellent sensitivity.
