Tone City Double Durple Dual Overdrive and Boost Pedal

The Tone City Double Durple combines two complementary overdrive circuits developed in collaboration with guitarist Peter “Danish Pete” Honoré. Bringing together the original Durple and a modified Blues Man circuit, it offers a versatile range of sounds from clean-style boosts and low-gain drive to thicker, saturated overdrive tones.

Each circuit can be activated independently or combined for stacked drive effects, giving guitarists flexible tonal options for blues, rock and other playing styles.

Two Independent Drive Circuits

The Durple side delivers dynamic low-to-mid-gain overdrive with flexible tonal shaping, while the Double side uses a modified Blues Man circuit for lower-gain boost and drive sounds. Both circuits feature their own Gain, Volume and Tone controls, allowing each effect to be adjusted independently.

Stacked Overdrive and Flexible EQ

The two circuits can be used separately or stacked together to create increased saturation, sustain and harmonic detail. A dedicated Mid control on the Durple side and a Smooth/Bright switch on the Double side provide additional flexibility when shaping the overall response.

Practical Dual-Footswitch Design

Independent footswitches provide convenient control over the Durple and Double circuits during performance. True-bypass operation and top-mounted input, output and power connections allow the pedal to integrate into compatible guitar pedalboard setups.

Please Note: An external regulated 9V DC centre-negative power supply is required and is sold separately. Battery operation is not supported.
