The Tone City WildFro is an aggressive high-gain distortion pedal developed with guitarist and Andertons TV presenter Rabea Massaad. Based on Tone City’s popular Wild Fire pedal, it has been modified to deliver the tight response, clarity and modern distortion character required for technical riffs, heavy rhythm playing and powerful lead tones.

Its compact design makes it easy to add to crowded pedalboards, while true bypass switching preserves your guitar signal when the effect is disengaged.

Tight Modern Distortion

The WildFro delivers high levels of gain while remaining focused and articulate. Even with the Gain control turned up, palm-muted riffs and fast passages retain definition, making it well suited to metal, progressive rock and other modern heavy styles.

Flexible Tone Shaping

The Tone control adjusts the pedal’s brightness and presence. Higher settings add definition and help your guitar cut through dense band mixes, while lower settings provide a smoother, darker response.

Extra Gain for Lead Playing

The dedicated More switch adds an additional boost of gain. It is ideal for solos, sustained lead lines or moments that need extra intensity without changing your main distortion settings.
